Description
Begin the new year with the sangha through an afternoon and evening of meditation, reflection, and community. We will practice together through periods of dharma sharing, sitting, and reflection. There will be time to reflect on the past year, on what might need forgiveness as well as what has been wholesome and meaningful, and on what our aspirations for the coming year might be. We’ll also come together to take the refuges and precepts, as a commitment to our path going forward (this is optional).
At 5:45 pm we start our regular Friday evening meditation schedule, at which point you could leave, or feel welcome stay for the regular sit. The evening will conclude with food and informal time together, 7:30 – 8:15 pm.
Schedule:
3:00 – 5:30 New Year’s gathering
5:30 – 5:45 Break
5:45 – 7:30 Regular Friday schedule
7:30 – 8:15 Social time (with potluck)
You are welcome to join for the afternoon gathering, the regular evening sit, or both

Generosity
This gathering is on a dana (generosity/donation) basis. Your donation to the teachers provides support to allow them to continue offering these teachings, part of your donation supports IMCR and Ekoji. Please give as feels appropriate and generous for you. Please delight in your generosity and know that the dharma continues to be offered to you and others through our collective acts of sharing. All are welcome, no donation is required.
At the gathering there will be the opportunity to offer a cash donation, a donation by check, or via QR code. You can also donate online to the teachers.
