Description
This class will explore how subtle joy shows up in our lives and in our practice. We will explore how to cultivate this subtle joy as a sustainable driver on the path to freedom and liberation. Subtle joy is used in our practice and lives as a way to nurture wholesome qualities of mind and heart that arise out of our ability to get curious and investigate. We will also discuss how cultivating joy doesn’t mean we ignore the bad but rather how we can utilize joy in the practice as a source of nourishment and inspiration.
“Keep knocking and the joy inside will eventually open a window and look out to see who is there.” ~Rumi
The class will include a talk, guided meditations with instructions, journaling, and opportunities for sharing of experiences, as well as time for Q&A.
Everyone is welcome, no prior meditation experience needed. For those new to meditation we do ask that you watch the series of four videos on the page for beginners.
